Afamefuna Odiwe, a Bay Area native originally from Union City California. He has served as an operations supervisor with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) since 2022. In his position,at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) he is responsible for supervising, directing, reviewing, planning, and evaluating the work of subordinate personnel engaged in a variety of transit service activities. he also investigates alleged violations of fare policy rules, analyzes fare inspection data, and communicates regularly with SFPD and SFFD as well as other departments
Professionally, Afamefuna Odiwe has experience reviewing surveillance footage, garnering digital evidence and has assisted the San Francisco Police Department and the San Francisco Fire Department in a number of circumstances surrounding the city transit system. His administrative duties include filing and reviewing daily memos, following up on outstanding reports from the previous shift, and keeping track of bus/subway car routing .
Academically, Afamefuna Odiwe graduated from James Logan High School holds an undergraduate degree from Chabot College and a business administration degree from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to his position at SFMTA, He has worked as a full-time futures trader with a background in quantitative finance and over 7 years of experience in trading index and commodity futures. My focus is on disciplined risk management and data-driven strategies. I have shared insights, trading setups, and performance analytics to help others navigate the markets with confidence. Outside of trading, I’m passionate about nutrition and optimizing health for peak performance.
